Clivi wines are made in accordance with traditional methods; such state-of-the-art techniques as are used are solely intended to secure the best possible conditions for the natural processes through which wine comes into existence and matures.

Fermented with its own vineyards' yeast cultures, the wine undergoes subsequent malolactic fermentation and is matured in inox tanks on its own lees for 2 years, no racking nor filtration. No make-up of maceration préfermentaire or oak is used: it is pure grape juice transformed into wine.
Four wines are produced, a white and a red DOC Colli Orientali del Friuli under the name of Clivi Galea and a white and a red DOC Collio under the name of Clivi Brazan. Production is in the region of 30,000 bottles.
